Following the retirement of the current principal, the governors of St Matthew Academy, Blackheath, are looking for an exceptional person to lead the country's first all-through Catholic academy, which opened in 2007 and caters for 1300 children from the age of three to 16 under one roof.

This is one of the most exciting jobs in Catholic education today. In 2010 St Matthew Academy was in the top five per cent of schools for student progress at Key Stage 4, and it has a national reputation for Enterprise education.
