E-ACT is a leading academy sponsor and social enterprise, specialising in the development of world-class academies and schools across the UK.

They are seeking a Director of Education who will be responsible for leading the Education Directorate within E-ACT and developing their national profile as the leading educational academy and Free School chain in England. You will be the leading strategic expert developing the culture and aspirations for high educational attainment throughout E-ACT. 

You will be the spokesperson on the national stage exporting E-ACT’s message of educational excellence and driving their ambitions for Teaching School Status in their academies and free schools. This is an opportunity for an individual with experience across education and with a sound and proven knowledge of education practice. 

Your background could be in a local authority, central government department, private or voluntary sector. You will need to be dynamic, entrepreneurial and ambitious with evidence of sound leadership and the ability to inspire others.
