Complaints

Any complaints of unfair treatment should be raised with either the line manager or Human Resources and will be dealt with under the Grievance procedure without undue delay. Breaches of our equality policy will be regarded as misconduct or in serious cases gross misconduct. Where appropriate, disciplinary action will be taken.

Monitoring

Business practices and procedures will be monitored and reviewed on an ongoing basis to avoid any unlawful or undesirable discrimination or harassment. This will include analysis of employment statistics, training and complaints.

This policy is fully supported by senior management and has been agreed with trade union and the staff association, as well as complying with the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) membership. The REC, as the governing body for the Recruitment Industry ensures that corporate members and their staff meet current equal opportunities standards.
